The KODI Rafting Family

KODI Rafting has been taking people on guided, whitewater raft trips since 1986, and our customers love us. The reason for this is our friendly office staff and helpful, professional river guides. Many of our highly trained, raft guides have been with us for years.

KODI Rafting Owners – Dave and Amy McGrath

Dave and Amy are excited to return to Summit county to pursue a dream of spending their lives on the river and living in the mountains with their family. They have been rafting together since 2002 when Dave began his career as a raft guide on the Arkansas River. The duo spent several years living and working in the area after graduating from Kansas State University. After starting a family in 2009 they set out on a new adventure and relocated to their home state of Kansas to reconnect with their roots. Together they share a passion for the river and are excited to pass the KODI legacy on to their daughter Danni, and son Thomas.

sabrinaSabrina is the river manager for KODI’s Arkansas River Outpost, in Buena Vista and has been a rafting guide for 19 years. She lives in Leadville with husband Geoff and their three labs Blue, Gage & Maddie. Although her favorite river is The Ark for it’s diverse beauty, her best river memory is getting a mother who had never swam a day in her life to take a dip with her on The Upper Colorado.

Raft Guide – Kevin

kevinKevin’s life goal is to escape the corporate world and like many of us – live the dream! In his 4th season of Rafting, he has not met a river yet that was not his favorite. His son and 2 Maine Coon’s would agree that he could never live without water running down-hill, in all seasons.
